After three pretty hectic days, we are leaving Singapore today aboard the ms Volendam. It’s been a great visit. Two sunny days and a downpour. We covered a lot of ground, including Little India, Kampong Glam (Arab Quarter), Chinatown ( at night, just before Chinese New Year!), and, of course, a Singapore Sling at Raffles. This is the perfect destination for world travelers, especially those just starting to explore. It’s very safe, clean, exotic and everyone speaks English. It’s easy to get around and the wealth of cultural diversity is very exciting. Singapore has always been one of the World’s crossroads of commerce.
